My Practice explores the pictorial and subjective within performance to create a ‘Performed Photography’ or ‘Performed Sculpture’. I question the importance the liveness of performance art in the current digital age whilst exploring concepts of authenticity, femininity, masculinity and resistance. As a performance artist, I blend methods of thought in motion, duration, rules, tasks and prepared visual scores and the reuse of actions from previous altered states to challenge the dialogue of performance art, sculpture and installation.
